There was no avoiding the western trend on the catwalk’s this season. From feminine prairie dresses at Coach, to all out rodeo at House Of Holland, the fashion world drew their inspiration for the season from the Wild West. The easiest way to adopt and tackle this trend is with a subtle nod in the form of footwear. Spotted on the feet of models at Celine, Calvin Klein and Gucci, the once uncool Cowboy boot has now shot to the top of your AW hitlist.

For AW17, Ash have adapted the catwalk trend for cowboy boots into a number of different offerings. With styles that take on the trend full throttle, as well as those with more subtle hints, there are options to tackle the trend whichever way you choose. The Joyce Boots are the most extreme incarnation of cowboy boots in the collection, rising up the calf and decorated with embroidery and rhinestones, invoking a true country spirit. For a shorter style, look to Joanna for the same vibes in a shorter rise. The Ilona boots take a slightly more subtle approach, with plaited cord details reminiscent of a Bolo tie, punctuated with rustic shaded studs. For an even more subtle approach, the Goldie wedges reference the stars on the American flag with their applique details decorating the sides.

The Western trend is one that cannot be avoided this season. With so many options to try the trend from Ash, start shopping today.
