Ash Studio Paris SS15 has landed online.

By this time, no doubt you’ve all ogled over the luxe fabrics, buttery soft leathers and street-style inspired sports luxe designs that are on offer, maybe even bought a couple of pieces for yourself, but we thought it was about time we gave you a little insight into where the collection came from, the man behind it and the inspiration for our SS15 campaign.

Kevork Kiledjian is a Paris born designer who has previously been behind three labels. French street-wear brand Triiad is where he started his career, before moving onto Guilty Brotherhood, a successful luxury womens line which was stocked in world reknowned department stores and attracted lots of press attention. In 2011, Kevork crossed the Atlantic and set himself up in New York where he launched his eponymous label, Kevork Kiledjian, with the Spring/Summer 2011 collection at NYFW.

His trademark aesthetic is characterised by sexy, womanly silhouettes executed in luxury fabrics, portraying Kiledjians woman as a strong and beautiful creature who means business.

For this reason, he was an obvious choice to collaborate with on Ash’s first foray into Ready-To-Wear. The brand, already known for our attitude and no-nonsense approach to not only dressing, but all aspects of life, needed somebody to really embody that ethos and bring it to life in this collection.

For the campaign, the idea of the Girl Gang was played on. The Ash girl for SS15 is young, confident and wild. You wanna be in our gang. Selecting some of the top up and coming models in the industry, the Girl Gang was formed. Jing Wen, Antonia Petkovic and Devon Windsor make up this brood of fierce and strong looking women, and at once instill a feeling of friendship, intrique and togetherness onto the onlooker. “Come join us…”, they say, “If you dare!”.

At the heart of the collection, which is crafted in luxury leathers, silks and sought-after selvedge denim, is the quintessential ASH attitude, spiked with a sports luxe edge and finished with an expected scattering of studs and zips.

Taking inspiration from the eclectic cultural mix of music, people and architecture around the Rue Saint-Honoré neighbourhood in Paris, each piece is guaranteed to add a touch of effortless Parisian chic to any outfit.

Key pieces such as the M83 Leather Pants, Hands Textured Mini Dress and Ashes Oversized Dress are wardrobe staples which will surpass seasonal trends. The versatility of the collection be seen within the sportswear inspired pieces such as the Coolkat Leggings and the lustworthy camo print Winderfell Jacket, which under no circumstances should be reserved for the gym. These clothes were made to be lived in, in the streets, in the city, in your favourite dive bar, or high-end club.

Wherever your life takes you, this collection offers up a must-have piece. Whatever you do, do it in Ash.
